Gooseflesh danced across Joe's back. A vision of Holly beneath him on a food-laden table, his own personal feast, flashed behind his eyes. He grinned at her. “I’d love some help, on one condition.”
She cocked one delicately arched eyebrow at him and stared him down. The look said he’d better be careful in what conditions he tried to impose on her.
“You have to take some of this home for you and your aunt. There’s no way I’ll be able to use it up before I have to toss it out.”
“Well, I think I can agree to that.”
“You can, can you? What else will you agree to, Holly Thomas?”
She slowly leaned forward.
